Why The Hive? The support offered by The Hive Community Circle is unique in that it offers culturally-reflective, peer-based, inclusive, and survivor-driven support and services to overcome the trauma of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking - and just the very resource that is essential in our community for our collective care, well-being, and healing.

It's an honor to be a keeper of The Hive and raising funds to sustain their work. In my own survivor story, The Hive Community Circle was the first resource I felt safe reaching out to: I was drawn to an approach centered in healing, joy, and safety rather than shame and questioning as to why I didn't seek support sooner. I trusted that I would not have to explain my cultural upbringing and would be able to heal through the shame that is often prescribed to young femmes of color.

$25 secures an hour of crisis support, and $50 will provide an hour of trauma-informed counseling. And since a hive requires everyone to work collectively, I'll be matching $250 of donations, meaning your gift will be doubled and further support!
